IRSSI URL Handler?


Anybody know of a way to get IRSSI to handle URLs? Currently I have to cut and paste the url into firefox.

Since irssi runs in a terminal, i don't think there's a way to do what you want. At least not in xterm, aterm or eterm. Don't know about konsole or gnome console though....

Yeah thats what I figured but I just threw it out there. That stinks. I don't want to go back to xchat but I may have to.

URL handler is not that usefull....I mean it is, but maybe you'll lose 2 sec doing the copy-paste...

LOL....I think you pay too much attention to those 2 secs
Anyways, is a good idea to have an url handler in the terminals, but can't imagine how it should be implemented
