sixy LQ Newbie Registered: Mar 2006 Posts: 14 Rep:	irpty socket problem Hi, have any of you used irpty? it has an option to connect to a particular socket, but seems to ignore which socket i specifiy and connect to the default socket anyway. however if you use the socket command with the wrong syntax it comes up with an error, so i am stuck as to what could be wrong. I am using FC5 with the latest (2111) kernel and the newest lirc kernel module installed via yum. Can anyone help?
