xchat is probably the best as far as graphical interfaces and setup goes, so it's just standard. I've never tried BitchX but this is usually second in line by popularity.

Ok now i have a problem i downloaded the file xchat-2.0.4-0.i386.rpm from the xchat website so i run that and it comes up with a n error stating that
"the signature of the package 'xchat-2.0.4-0.i386.rpm' is not correct.
No GPG signature in package
would you like to instal anyway?"
so i say ok and then it says...
"conflicts were detected.
gtk2 is needed by xchat-2.0.4-0
libcrypto.so.4 is needed by xchat-2.0.4-0
libssl.so.4 is needed by xchat-2.0.4-0
Install aborted."
can you help me out on how to fix this plz
thx for any help

um...you didn't double post.
You need to download all of these libraries that were mentioned. You can download them from the redhat website, I believe. Search under packages for "gtk" &c...Or download the source from their respective websites.
