IPTables and RTCW

I am using iptables as a firewall on my Jamd Linux system. I have done no tweaking on my own-- it is the standard set up except that I chose "High" security instead of the default Medium.

Anyway, I downloaded Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I tried to play it but I cannot find any servers or games to join. I assume that this is because I don't have the correct ports open.

How can I open up the appropriate ports for RTCW so I can play against other people?

Thanks,
dave

Well that depends on....

Is it some kind of pre-made firewall script you are using?

If all fails, you can turn the firewall off.

In RedHat you do something like
service iptables stop

but jamed???

what happenes if you do a iptables -L? It should give you a list of the currently active firewall rules...
