Does anyone know of any software that can pull songs off an iPod?

Ok, I am getting ready to try this as I lost the disk where I had all my CDs ripped to. I am not in the mood to rip them all again. If I understand gtkpod's readme correctly an Orphaned playlist should be created right? Once the Orphaned playlist is created, how do I transfer songs off the ipod?
