iometer installation issue

Hi All,

I am trying to install iometer on linux for checking the NFS related performace issues.

When we try to install the binary

iometer-2006_07_27.linux.i386-bin

it fails with the error

bash: ./iometer-2006_07_27.linux.i386-bin: cannot execute binary file

We then downloaded the rpm package from DAG repo ,

iometer-0.0.20040730-1.1.el3.dag.i386.rpm

It indicates getting installed, But I don't get any iometer command in the machine.

Please help me on this

Regards,

Athreya VC

Lightbulb RPM file list?

Hmm, do you still have the RPM file? Try the command
Code:
rpm -qlp PACKAGE-FILE
and post the results here.

I figured it out.

"Dynamo" got installed and I installed iometer on Windows 2000 . I am able to communicate between both .

Thanks again for the reply . For me, this issue is closed
