invalid module format on kernel 2.6.6 using gcc 3.3

Hi there!!!

I've been upgrading my linux system tools, and now, finally i'm upgrading kernel. I've choosen the latest kernel 2.6.6. After choosing the modules and everything else in meuconfig i've done "make && make modules_install && make install". Eveything went fine but now i'm having a problem. Whenever I try to modprobe isofs in, I get the error msg:

"isofs: version magic '2.6.6 PENTIUMM gcc-3.3' should be '2.6.6 PENTIUMM gcc-2.95
FATAL: error inserting isofs (/lib/......): invalid module format"

Can anyone give me an hint how to make this work. Is there a way to oblige the system to use a version 2.95 gcc compatible compiler, or any other tick?

thanks for your time
