invalid compressed format (err=2)
I have a diskless Linux client booting from a Linux server. Installed bpbatch, TFTP, DHCP and am loading my Linux image, which I configured and made from a RH 9.0 for my particular hardware. No modules were loaded since this is diskless, I had to include all NIC card, SCSI, video, and other drivers.
Anyway, the image gets loaded, but when trying to uncompress, I get the following: invalid compressed format (err=2) I can find what err=2 means. Has anybody experienced this problem before? Please, advise Thanks, Mike |
I'm just guessing here but maybe the kernel is too big. Have you tried compiling with fewer options?
