Im currently running sendmail 8.11.x on my box. I want to upgrade it to 8.12.2. Am I going to encouter problems? Also can i upgrade sendmail or do i have to uninstall my current version?

I just want to know if this is going to be a nightmare.

The cute thing about RH is RPMs. If you haven't had to hand tool your sendmail.cf or /etc/aliases, then its probably just a matter of D/L the .rpm for the newer Sendmail and rpm -U sendmail.x.x.x.rpm (U for upgrade). If the RPM has problems it will choke and not install.

Cheers,
