Intslling imlib1.9.0

Hi,

i am trying to install imlib1.9.0, when i did the ./configure
i had the following problem:

checking for GTK - version >= 1.1.9... no
*** The gtk-config script installed by GTK could not be found
*** If GTK was installed in PREFIX, make sure PREFIX/bin is in
*** your path, or set the GTK_CONFIG environment variable to the
*** full path to gtk-config.
configure: warning: *** gdk_imlib will not be built ***no

i tried to do "export GTK_CONFIG=/usr/bin" but it didn't work

PS:i did the make nd make install, it worked but i want to use gdk_imlib

You need to install gtk1.x and its devel package.

Many distros usually have prebuilt packages, but I can't be more precise about the installation process because you have not mentioned which distro you are using.
