xmms plays some formats, and i use Real Player(only good for audio streams) too.
I donīt know if it will work on those sites, but give it a try.
I download the file to my home directory first and then i open it with xmms.
:)

open the configuration dialog of xmms and choose the mp3 plugin-preferences. streaming - here are the relevant options.
have a look for music ex. www.shoutcast.com
open with xmms.

There is cool program for searching streaming radio: http://kderadiostation.coolprojects.org/
It downloads the radio playlists and can play it with XMMS

I just checked the site, and it linked to amorok for KDE that has the software your link referred to embedded. Its working great under YOPER now. By the way YOPER is great!

There's also streamtuner - a GTK interface for shoutcast and other directories of audio streams. It plays well with xmms.

That looks nice, I like this shoutcast, I've never used it before today. I tried xmms, but it crashed, amorok seems to work, but you can't record I dont think, like stream tuner. Hmmm, I will have to see....
