Internet in Linux

I have netzero internet service, I already figured out that its a waste of ten bucks a month, but anyway, how do I connect to it in linux? The netzero people told me there would be a linux version, but that was over a year ago, so I've givin up on it.

How do I go on the internet with rh9?

Do you have a dial-in number and account details (username, password)? If so, you can either use network-device-control or kppp to enter the particulars (modem, phone number to call, account information). You should be all set. Press Connect to go online.

I do, but you have to use their software. I tried connecting using windows dial up networking and it would tell me invalid username/password. I emailed them and they told me it was because i need to use their software that crashes more than windows itself.
