Internet History

I want to view the internet history on my computer, to see what people get up to on it when im not around where could I view this kind of information?

Ive have tried firefox go history, but that has been cleared out which suggests to me, that people have been using my PC

If you have a firewall running, you might be able to see what http connections were made to what IP addresses. Not sure where the iptables log is though (I assume somewhere in /var/log...) or whether it is set to log every transaction...

Configure squid and squidguard - with squid you can log web access. You can also block web access.

Geez, and I thought this was about the history of the internet....duh.

for the syslog stuff look in /etc/syslog.conf to see what level your logging at. Very easily configurable.
Squid sounds intereting. I'm not familiar with that.
