Hi all...

I'm using Redhat linux 9 server as postfix server for local communication in the office, when was installing linux server I had given default gateway and dns ip address, after installing postfix in the server I have removed default gateway and dns information in the redhat network configuration also I edited the resolve.conf file and removed DNS address. From the local mail server if I send mails to outside public address the mails are going out from my mail server, which I want to restrict and mail should not be routed to outside office, my question is how I can able to ping the ip address (not domain name) from the local server which is not configured for internet, could anyone please let me know how to stop internet accessing from my mail server.
