My internet connection dies after I reboot Mandrake 10.1 and I can't get it to start. It is an ADSL connection through an Ethernet Modem. Does anyone know how to fix this?

You could try including 'nohup </path/to/app/executable> in the shutdown command. Nohup keeps the named process runing through the logout procedure, but I don't know if it will work through a reboot.
I don't think thats the problem.
Every time I reboot, it fails to bring up eth0 interface (meaning connecting ppp0 will fail).
So after each reboot I have goto "Configure Your Computer" and delete ppp0 and eth0 and make ppp0 again.
Please help me!
