Interface between user mode and kernel mode

Hi all,

I wanna send some message from a module running in user space to a module running in the kernel space.
How this can be achieved?

Thanks

You can do it either by creating a new syscall or by using sysfs or dev files and do open/read/write on them from the user space program.
