Installint GTK in Fedora Core 11

Hi,
I'm trying to install the GTK+ in my FC 11. I didn't know whether it's been installed or not. If not, how to install it.

Any form of help is appreciated.

so, i take it you installed the fedora KDE only install dvd ????????

if gnome is being used ( that is the default ) then gtk IS installed.

gtk is also mostlikely installed for the KDE install dvd .

it is installed, nomater what choice you made. Are you referring to gtk development files?

Btw, in fedora, to install something, open a console and type yum install <name>

'gtk' is always installed. !

To know what you already have : yum list installed gtk*
gtk+ 1.2.10 ( old style ).
gtk2 2.16.1 = the modern gtk+

And the installable packages : yum list available gtk*
gtk+-devel
gtk2-devel
... etc. etc.

# yum install gtk2-devel ( gtk+-devel )
.. provides files needed to build other software.

The package manager "Add / Remove Software" can be used too.
