Installing xtrkcad under kubuntu 14.10

I'm trying to install xtrkcad under Kubuntu 14.10. I was able to download the .deb package with no difficulty, but what that package does is to install a script called xtrkcad-setup-4.0.3a.i386.sh. Executing that script creates a directory called xtrkcad-setup-4.0.3a.i386 (no surprise there). That directory in turn has two subdirectories: bin and share. Running bin/xtrkcad fails because the library libgtkhtml-2.so.0 cannot be found.

Where can I find libgtkhtml-2.so.0?

you should install 32bit version of libgtkhtml2.0-dev. Unfortunately I could not find that version, probably someone can help you...

You referred to libgtkhtml2.0, but the program is asking for libgtkhtml-2. Which is correct?

one of them is the name of the library, the other one would be the package.
You can try to download from here: http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat....i586.rpm.html and unpack the rpm to get the file.
