Installing Xfree86 4.3.0 on RedHat 8.0

I downloaded the tgz's from XFree's site, and I tried it once but my window manager (Gnome 2.0) was replaced by twm. What is the right way to do it? I'm using RedHat 8.0.

use the rpms from rpmfind.net
