installing wine on 64bit with yum.. ?

I am running 2.6.14-1.1653_FC4 64bit
Using yum..
I do

yum install wine

and..
nothing! haha..
it seems i can't find it.
I read that the yum extras repo should have wine - but .. And I know that ports for 64bit wine are not out there, right? But.. Can't i compile from some src rpm somewhere? Does yum simply not deal with srpm s ? - all i can find is i386

You may just be calling it something other than it's packaged name. Try a:
yum search wine

And it will search your enabled repos for any package with 'wine' in the name.

Cool

{Edit}
I just re-read your post, it would seem that you can get a wine, but you are wanting a 64-bit version of wine. My appologies. A point to make though, 64-bit XP is fairly new, you probably would fair better with a 32-bit emulator running 32-bit apps. If 64-bit gets involved, you'd be looking at then having to use WOW (windows on windows which I assume is an emulator for windows?) which doesn't make much sense IMHO.

Cool

wine is a 32bit application period. wine-i386, of couse is now on the extras x86_64 tree. You should find it with yum or here
