installing windows xp from pxe server

Hey was looking into setting up a pxe server.

I want to be able to install 10 laptops at a time with windows xp and came across pxe server setup.
But can not find a way to install windows machines from a pxe box?
I do not want to use ghost because its not free, i want some free setup.

Anyone know of anything?
Thanks

Of course, Windows isn't free either.

You should be able to get the target machine to boot using pxe (assuming it supports boot from lan...many laptops don't) and load a linux distro into RAM. Then you have that distro download an iso of your Windows install from the server and place it on the HD using dd.

I've done this; it works OK when the iso is a Linux distro. I rather think you'll have problems with Windows validation trying it with XP unless you have an OEM XP.
