installing windowmaker from source

Hai,
I installed windomaker-.0.80.2. When I tried to start it, it complained that
the library libwraster.so wasn't found. Please somebody tell me about this library and where to get it.

it's supposed to be included with windowmaker. try running these sets of commands as root.

] # updatedb
] # locate libwraster.so

locate will bring up some directories where libwraster.so is in the filename. you might get output like:

/usr/local/lib/libwraster.so
/usr/local/lib/libwraster.so.2
/usr/local/lib/libwraster.so.2.2.0

either way, you could then create a link in /usr/lib to the location of libwraster.so - as root:

] # ln -s /usr/local/lib/libwraster.so /usr/lib/libwraster.so

then try restarting windowmaker.
