Everything is going nicely, but when I try to install frozen throne, the install freezes on Human.mpq or some human video file. My question is which is not functioning properly, the cd or wine. If it is my cd, how/where can I get an image to use instead of what my cd I have now.
i dont think its going slow because i let it run over night and yet it still was on the same human campaign video.
edit: i really do not want to send in my cd so i can reinstall it, is there a way i can get the image?

Are you installing from an actual CD, or an ISO image? If you CD is scratched, get hold of an ISO somewhere (if you have a backup eg) and try from that.. Just loopmount it to /mnt/cdrom ...
And please do make sure youre rtunning the latest wine..

i do have the most recent wine, i just got it last night
i searched in a lot of places for the iso, but only turned up things like programs [that] rip the image from the cd, none actually giving it. any ideas on where i could get an iso would be helpful
