installing vlc media player from suse ftp-server?
is it possible to find a suse-ftp-server that i can choose in yast for installing a vlc-mediaplayer? i'd really like to see an .avi i got from a friend...  which server?

You for sure need RPM 'a', and you should probably grab 'b' as well. 'c' is just if you want the mozilla browser plugin

now it is only files for suse 9.2 left, will they still work?

Not sure ... depends on the differences between 9.1 and 9.2. You can find packages for your RPM here though
