installing vlc in fedora 7

hi,

I keep trying to install vlc for fedora 7 but no luck!I followed the www.reghardware.com the "10 tweaks for acer aspire one" but no luck...

problem is that when i try to install the rpm-livna from vlc site when I click on it it brings me to a page that says the link appears to be broken!so i installed manually from rpm-livna.org but when i run the command "sudo yum install vlc" in terminal it starts running then it tells me that no vlc package is available...

if anyone could help me i would be deeply grateful as I can't watch any file on the laptop (installed real player and helix player but they can't support the files, especially avi ones)...

1. Upgrade to Fedora 11.

2. Include the RPMFusion archive for yum.

3. Do this:

Code:
# yum install vlc
I just did it. It's there. But you must upgrade your Fedora version.

Code:
# yum list | grep vlc

mozilla-vlc.i586 1.0.2-1.fc11 @rpmfusion-free-updates
vlc.i586 1.0.2-1.fc11 @rpmfusion-free-updates
vlc-core.i586 1.0.2-1.fc11 @rpmfusion-free-updates
python-vlc.i586 1.0.0-0.2.90.fc11 rpmfusion-free-updates
vlc-devel.i586 1.0.2-1.fc11 rpmfusion-free-updates
vlc-nox.i586 1.0.2-1.fc11 rpmfusion-free-updates
vlc-plugin-jack.i586 1.0.2-1.fc11 rpmfusion-free-updates
