Question installing the source......

okay.. well i have a problem......

1) cant connect to the internet through linux untill i get my wlan card configured

2) cant configure my wlan card till i install the source

3) SuSE personal disks didnt come with the kernel source on them. that is only in the pro version, or some rubbish

4)downloaded the kernel source file thing... belive it ends in .rpm or some such.. but YaST wont work to install it from my harddrive (it might just be that i don't know how to make it) and i dont know how to do it any other way... so this is where i need help

how do i install the kernel source without YaST ? or internet access? is it possible?

Just use

rpm -ivh your_rpm.rpm

to install RPM's out of the command terminal. It is easier than Yast anyway. I assume that's all you were asking.
