I have a problem that has started recently with my Suse 9.2 machine - whenever I try to install any rpm package I get the error message :

This happens with EVERY rpm, whether I install using Yast, or rpm on the command line. It also happens when I try and do an online update through Yast. This has worked in the past - does anyone have any suggestions?

Sorry, problem solved. Just did a rpm --rebuilddb which seems to have solved the problem. Forget I spoke.
