Installing RH8.0 and specifying text mode but still wants to try and start anaconda?


I'm installing RH8.0 and specifying text mode (tried both "linux text" and "text") at boot up yet it still tries to start up anaconda. Why?

What does typing "linux 3" at bootup do?

I'm trying to install, not to load an already installed RH80. I specify text mode but still trying anaconda....
