installing RAR for linux


How can I install RAR 3.20 for linux? I got these files to play with:

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1018 May 15 21:55 rarfiles.lst
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 10033 May 15 21:55 rar_site.txt
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 713620 May 15 21:55 rar_static
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 58045 May 15 21:55 rar.txt
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1050 May 15 21:55 readme.txt
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2859 May 15 21:55 register.txt

I've checked the .txt files but no info about how to install it.. also checked a couple of websites.. help!

There must be something in readme.txt.
Since there is no configure file,try 'make' from this directory.(i.e,the dierctory were Makefile is) and then try make install

hmm, did something with the 'make' commands... and now I can just type rar anywhere and the program works! Thanks
