[SOLVED] installing pidgin in mandriva 2010.0

When i install Mandriva 2010.0

and update it ive got a problem

i cant see the pidgin in the software list.

kindly help is there problem in my update..

i used

www.easyuprmi.zarb.org

and browse for mandriva 2010.0 update

You might need to get more repositories (3rd-party/community) from easyurpmi.

yes i do that several time and i see pidgin 2.7.3
but when i install it
i cant open it
always starting pidgin
but no pidgin opening

Can you try to open pidgin by launching it from a terminal window. It will likelly output any errors (or library dependencies) in the terminal window. You can copy and post it.
