The story of Linux is you have to work on it rather than work with it, I was trying to install oracle XE on Debian, checked few items on the Net and they are bit zany , each poster has its own them and variation, what I cannot understand is to Modify or how and why to modify ~/.bashrc , and do linkings etc
This one example
http://blog.cachemiss.com/articles/I...an%20AMD64.pod, there few others but are more confusing.
Is there any simple to install it? Or to be to point , is there any disaster free procedure?
