Installing NVclovk0.7 on RH9

Hey i have a Nvidia Geforce2 MX 400 card and am running RH9 and when i go to configure i get the following.
$ ./configure
Loading cashe ./config.cache
Checking for gcc... no
Checking for cc... no
Configure : error: no acceptable cc found in $PATH

I am installing this useing the installation text that comes with it, no offence but i see alot of people offer advice by telling them to read the installation manual.. even though there are probly alot of people that dont read it and ask stupid questions... but anyways im rambling again.. yeh please help
