Installing new fonts with Inkscape

I'm using Inkscape .43 on Fedora Core 4.

How can config Inkscape to see all fonts on my system.

I have quite a few fonts in "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/TTF," which I can see when I run the "xfontsel" command.

Can Inkscape see these fonts?

phil
