Installing mplayer with Fedora 8 missing dependencies

Using yum to install mplayer on Fedora 8. I setup Livna repo, then using terminal as su typed: yum -y install mplayer mplayer-gui mplayerplug-in mencoder. Got errors... missing dependencies: libpulse.so.0 and libdvdnavmini.so.4 I found the first one (libpulse) was already in /user/lib/ but not the second one (libdvdnavmini) Is this an issue of getting the correct versions of everything to work together? is there something else I can use instead of libdvdnavmini? How about getting mplayer to work without it? I don't need the ability to play traditional dvd, just other video formats. By the way is "mplayerplug-in" a typo? I am using the Personal Fedora 8 Installation Guide and that is how they show it.

the new keys have been out long enough that running
yum update
or
yum update yum
will solve this
also note that livna is now part of RpmFusion
