Installing Mandrake Linux 8.1 on second hdd

Hi all

Has anyone successfully installed Mandrake8.1 on their second HDD.

My first hdd (2gb) boots into Windows ME

Ihave a linux partition and a swap partition for linux created on second hdd (30gb) & installed Mandrake 8.1

I cant seem to boot into linux.

Iwould like to boot into linux with a floppy disk .

I tried to boot with lilo but it didnt work
