jacoby LQ Newbie Registered: Jul 2003 Posts: 3 Rep:	Installing Mandrake 9.1 using PCMCIA CD-rom Hi I am trying to get a PCMCIA CD-rom working on a IBM 760EL laptop. I want to install Mandrake 9.1. When using the pcmcia.img I get to the menu selecting cd-rom for the boot - the cdrom is accurately identified but when: Trying to load /tmp/image/Mandrake base(mdkinst_stage2.bz2 as a ramdisk The kernel message is (3)hdc : lost interrupt I am not versed in linux and is at a loss. Does anyone have suggestions on how to proceed? Regards
