Installing Logitech iFeel Mouse under Caldera OpenLinux eDesktop 2.4

I would like to know how to get my Logitech iFeel Mouse working under Caldera OpenLinux eDesktop 2.4. I just finished the installation using a different mouse. My integrated sound for my Fic AZ-11 also did not work during the installation's test and I would like to know how to get sound for my Via 686A chipset working. Also during the autoprobe for hardware my Linksys LNETX100 version 4 was not detected and I need it working for access to our broadband internet.

not sure about the mouse.. what type of mouse is it, in detail i mean ?? you might want to check compatiblity for your sound.. good resources are www.opensound.com and www.alsa-project.org
your nic uses the tulip driver and it most likely should be available already with caldera.. check out the ethernet howto at www.linuxdoc.org for good detailed info about ethernet.

I heard at some ZDNet site that it's supported under kernel version 2.4 and apparently I must not have that version or it would work. Please tell me how to update the kernel to 2.4 and enable support for the Logitech iFeel Mouse. Also I'm not suprised you haven't heard of the mouse since it just came out in 2001.
