Installing Linux ISO's to Second Harddrive

Here is my question:

I downloaded linux, all three of the ISO files. Well, Im currently running windows xp, I would like to install Linux on my other harddrive on my PC. I downloaded WinISO, extracted all files using the same directories that were contained in the ISO. It won't let me mount the ISOs to a D: drive. Also, is it possible to be able to choose which harddrive I want to boot from. Im not ready to give up windows cold turkey till I get familer with linux.

You need to burn the isos as cd images and then run the installation after rebooting Windows. Select the installation target as your second hard drive (/dev/hda would normally be your first hard drive).

It can be done, do a little research into doing hard drive or network installations.

thats not helping much. I have searched, downloaded WinISO thinking that would do what it needed. Aparently not, It just extracted it, I know there is more to it, but I have yet to figure out. It wont let me mount it to a D:, the only options start with a G: and go from there.

A hard drive install is not done within windows. Search on google for "fedora+linux+hard+drive+install", there are quite a few articles that guide you on how to do this.
