Question installing kino(mandrake 9.2)


I am trying to install kino on mnadrake 9.2 and getting this error. any ideas ?
[root@OEMComputer kino-0.7.1]# ./configure

Looks like you need to install gcc.

dv.h not found

Okay I installed the gcc, libdv etc. ran ./configure

it stopped now at "dv.h not found"

Hmmm, I just Googled dv.h and I still don't know what that is. Maybe someone else can help you with this.

dv is libdv. see the requirements page on the kino site http://kino.schirmacher.de/article/static/3 on that page it mentions v 0.98 with alink. do NOT use that version go to source forge and v 0.102 the new version.
