Hi, I use Mandrake 10, and am going to upgrade to 10.1, but I want to install KDE 3.3.1 which Mandrake does not provide. I therefore would like to install it using Konstruct, but my question is, wwill it screw up my URPMI database?
The URPMI database will still think I'm running KDE 3.2.3 and will get dependency errors etc. If I unsintall 3.2.3 (or simply dont install it first), then when I wont be able to install any KDE dependant programs through URPMI right? (without nodeps anyway). For a package as big as KDE, is it worth screwing up throwing my URPMI database out of whack? Or should I just get Fedora Core3 when it comes out instead
