Angry Installing JDK on Redhat Linux 7.2

Dear All:

I have RH 7.2 running on my m/c and its 'uname -a' output is:

[ing02873]~ > uname -a

Linux my_llinux 2.4.7-10-tls #2 lun fév 9 10:41:24 CET 2004 i686 unknown

I am trying to install JSDK on this and I tried packages like

1. j2sdk-1_3_1_15-linux-i586
2. jdk-1_5_0_01-linux-amd64
3. jdk-1_5_0_01-linux-i586

But I get error when I try to install all these packages:

The download file appears to be corrupted. Please refer
to the Troubleshooting section of the Installation
Instructions on the download page for more information.
Please do not attempt to install this archive file.

I heard that jdk 1.4.2.04 works on RH 7.2. Could some one let me know how to solve this issue and where can I get 1.4.2.04 package.

Thanks in advance,

-P
