Installing hdpram RH 8.0

Hi All,

I can't seem to find hdpram in my redhat 8.0 install (although I thought is was installed by default).

Googling for hdpram hasn't helped either, can anyone give me heads up as to where I can find /download/ install hdpram from?

Regards

Mick

You are looking for hdparm.../usr/sbin/hdparm

There are many good sites on the net to help you, one of them is http://www.linuxnetmag.com/en/issue7/m7hdparm1.html

You donut need to dl hdparm, it is part of the standard build. Be careful fooling with settings, you have the potential of hosing your machine
