Installing gtk-engines-2.6.3

Hi,

at first i tried to install the gnome-package for Nuvola from icon-king.com. While ./configure it stopped with a message like "checking for gtk-engines-2 >= 2.6.0... Package gtk-engines-2 was not found in the pkg-config search path."

So i downloaded "gtk-engines-2.6.3" from rpmseek.com, unzipped and tried to configure it. Got stuck with

"checking for gtk+-2.0 >= 2.6.0... Package gtk+-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `gtk+-2.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'gtk+-2.0' found
configure: error: GTK+-2.0 is required to compile gtk-engines"

I'm running Ubuntu 5.04. All gtk-related stuff seems to be installed while checking with synaptic.

Could anyone set me back on track, i have no idea how to go on. Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi redazz,

installing all gtk-devel-stuff (package gnome-core-devel) did the job. Would love to click the Affero button, but the link is disabled.

Anyway, thanx a lot!
