installing gnome-libs-devel/slackware 10.2?

slackware 10.2 (2.4.37) /xfce 4.2.2

i'm trying to install gnome-libs-devel, which is a dependency for installing a number of things related to kino (i.e. dvtitler). i can't find any tars or .tgz's for this, and i am using rpm's with the rpm2tgz command. it converts alright and seems to install ok, but when i then go to compile dvtitler, ./confiigure still returns:

Quote:
configure: error: Could not find the gnomeConf.sh file that is generated by gnome-libs install
can anyone help me out?

Are the gnome-lib files not in the gtk package? I was under the impression that this contained all of the dependencies required for Gnome apps. I run KDE so I don't know for sure, but I do not have any problems compiling apps with Gnome dependencies with this package. I would suggest installing GTK-1 & GTK-2 and see if it works. It's worth a shot at least.
