Installing Gnome 2.14 on Slackware

I have been able to install all the files for the most part, question us how do I get slackware to recognize it. Cause when I go to the KDE login menu, it offers me other sessions to login to but Gnome does not show up. How do I get Gnome to show up on the session menu.

maybe you should look into dropline or freerock gnome. I like freerock gnome because it comes in slack packages that are easy to instll.

Run xwmconfig and select xinitrc.gnome. If you don't have it, maybe you don't have gnome installed.
