punchycool LQ Newbie Registered: Feb 2005 Posts: 2 Rep:	Installing Fedora Core from HD on external ATA controller Sorry for the duplicate record here...I thought someone in this forum may have insight as well. TIA. I have a SOYO SY-5EMA+ board. I plan to install an ATA/133 PCI Linux adpater and a new ATA/133 Maxtor 120GB disk. Are there any issues installing Fedora Core onto this new disk that is sitting on an external ATA controller? If I install the ATA/133 PCI adapter and the new disk, is it safe to say that I can simply install the OS from CD without much of a hitch. I have been using RH9 for 2 years now and am familiar with installs. I am just upgrading the machine and switching to the latest Fedora OS.
