hi,
i installed Red Hat Linux 6.0 yesterday. i had some initial problems with accessing my floppy drive but i overcame that. now the problem is... installing the display and network drivers.

another thing is, once i finish installing the display driver, how do i get to change the display settings to 800 X 600??? right now, the resolution is set at 640 * 480 and 8 colors. i had chosen that when installing linux. is there any way i can change the settings to 800 X 600 with true color display?

pls. reply immediately!!! thanks!!

You will want to try Xconfigurator to change the display settings and or xf86config. About installing drivers, once compiled, you can insmod the driver with that command. What type of network connection do you have and what model?
