Installing Creative Drivers failed :(

After my failed test installation of alsa, I read that these creative drivers supported spdif speakers, so I tryd to install them.

Got this error message. I tried to understand it, he asks something about .config file not correct, but I am not sure what I must do exactly, my thaught is I must copy this .config to /lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r2/build, but where can I find this config file?

Thanks for the help.

localhost emu10k1-v0.20a # make

** /lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r2/build/.config is missing
** if this is a custom kernel then you need to run make config in /lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r2/build.
** if this is a distribution kernel then you need to copy the correct .config file to /lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r2/build.
** for RedHat kernels the .config file is one of the /lib/modules/2.4.20-gentoo-r2/build/configs/*.config

Are you running that kernel?

It's looking for kernel headers, I believe. Have a look here.
