Angry installing ati driver

im having difficult installing my ati driver if i download the rpm file and then open it then it says install file so i do and in the middle o the package install it fails any ideas

thanks corey

p.s my screen is really big without the driver

First we need to know what distribution you have then we can progress. Assuming you have a newish graphics card that is supported by ati linux drivers they can be a pain to setup. But it works if you try real hard.
I think the reason your screen it big is because of the resolution. Smaller the resolution less you can fit on your screen.

i have mandrake 10.1 and a ati 9200 and im running 1024X480 so thats not the problem i know it the driver is there a good tutorial that can show me how to install tthe driver
