I'm new to linux and just installed mandrake 10.0. i downloaded someprograms and don't know how to intall them. one i have saved to my desktop and it reads like this
LimeWireLinux.bin
I'm not sure what to do from here!!!
Hello, and welcome to linux, we hope you enjoy your stay ! This .bin signifies that it is a binary file. For more information goto www.google.com/linux and search "howto install linux binaries". You should figure it out from there. I also suggest changing your title to something more specific like: "how to install binaries" , people like specifics around here.
